A Message From the Superintendent Of Clinton Public Schools

"Home of the Red Tornados"

Dear Clinton Parents and Patrons,

It is a tremendous honor to continue to serve as Superintendent of Clinton Public Schools during the 2018-2019  school year. One of the biggest factors that contribute to the success of a school is the support it receives from the parents and patrons in the community. A child's level of performance is directly related to the amount of time each parent/guardian is able to spend with  them. Clinton has a longstanding tradition of excellence in the classroom and extracurricular activities due to the active role that many people in our community take part in. This will begin our second year of  a five year Strategic Plan that is a result of hours of collaboration between community members, parents, teachers, students, and  district Leadership.

Our enrollment is curently over 2,200 students. The administration offices are located at 1720 Opal Blvd. This facility contains three state of the art professional development labs  for teachers, students, and the community. We are continuing to make improvements and renovating at all sites.

  • Southwest Elementary School

             Purchasing new cafeteria tables

In addition to the campus improvements Clinton Public Schools has purchased three new activity buses: 1) forty-seven passenger, 2) twenty-two passenger, 3) fourteen passenger. The district will award a retention bonus of $500 to all returning certified employees,  as well as continue to give stipend/bonus to all employees: Certified $2,000, Support $1,500.

Technology continues to advance at Clinton with  over 2500 ipads and 1,500 Chromebooks in use as educational tools for our students. The State Department of Education lists Clinton as one of fifteen one- to- one school districts in Oklahoma. Every Clinton teacher has access to classroom sound systems, smartboards, personal ipads and laptops as they prepare our students for the 21st century.  Clinton administrators and teachers are showcasing our advances in technology and instruction by presenting at various conferences including NSBA, OSSBA, OTA, TCEA, Governors Technology Summit, OKASBO, USSA,  World Languages, and numerous Edcamps.

We, at Clinton Public Schools, commit ourselves everyday to provide the best quality education for the children of our community. There are many opportunities to become volunteers in various capacities. I encourage everyone to become even more active with Clinton Public Schools.
