Several of our Clinton Middle School students recently attended the Introduce a Girl to Engineering event at Oklahoma State University — and it was a hands-on, minds-on kind of day!
They explored STEM through interactive tours and exciting activities like making lip gloss, nail polish, creating binary code bracelets, and experimenting with paper circuits and biosystems. To top it all off, they wrapped up the experience with a fast-paced engineering design challenge that put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test.
These girls didn’t just learn about engineering — they lived it.

Before school was out, this Nance Elementary class received their very own class book from the publisher — and it’s a wild one. 🐾 It’s titled First Grade Animals, and every student picked an animal, did their own research, wrote a page all about it, and created their own illustrations. From fluffy to ferocious, this book is packed with fun facts and first-grade flair.

Physicals for 7th–12th Grade Band & Sports – 2025–26 School Year
Students in grades 7–12 have several options for completing their required physicals:
Option 1: Schedule a visit with your primary care provider
Option 2: Visit a local urgent care clinic
Both of these options are typically covered by Soonercare and most insurance plans, including HealthChoice.
Option 3:
Date: Wednesday, May 28
Time: 1:00–4:00pm
Location: Clinton Regional Hospital (Enter through the south doors near the ER)
Cost: $10
Parents/guardians do not need to attend as long as pages 1, 2, and 4 of the OSSAA physical form are completed and signed ahead of time.

Please remember that the park will open at 5:00pm to choose your seats. Both sides of the stage on the concrete, along with the first seven rows, are reserved for graduates. Be sure to leave space for them to walk and for wheelchair access. Any items placed to hold seats before 5:00 may be removed. If you use tape to reserve seats, please take it with you when you leave.
