Our 64 incredible 5th, 6th, and CMS track athletes showed up and showed out at the Weatherford track meet on Saturday, shattering records and leaving it all on the track! 🏅🏆 From sprints to relays and field events, these athletes proved that hard work and determination pay off. Mrs. Granger’s Archery/Outdoor Education class took learning outside the classroom with a trip to Hackberry Flat Wildlife Conservation! 🏞️🏹🌿 Outfitted in wading boots, students ventured into the wetlands, using long-handled nets to collect aquatic specimens. Back at the Education Center, they sorted and identified invertebrates—getting an up-close look under the microscope! 🔬 The highlight? While attending Southwestern, I will be earning a degree in Exercise Science. With this degree, I hope to then go to physical therapy school where I will then go and end up becoming a physical therapist. My overall goal for all of this is to end up owning my own practice and be able to work in my dream field. While being in college, I also plan to be a dual sport athlete, and with this, I will continue my track and cheer journey.
