Dear Clinton Parents and Patrons,
Dear Clinton Parents and Patrons,
It is a tremendous honor to serve as Superintendent of Clinton Public Schools . One of the biggest factors that contribute to the success of a school is the support it receives from the parents and patrons in the community. A child's level of performance is directly related to the amount of time each parent/guardian is able to spend with them. Clinton has a longstanding tradition of excellence in the classroom and extra-curricular activities due to the active role that many people in our community take part in.
Our enrollment continues to increase as we have over 2,120 students enrolled at this time. We are short on space in the lower grades, but thanks to the support from our community, CPS recently passed a 17.2 million dollar bond issue. Due to the extensive scope of work throughout the district, construction will be phased in different packages, but is scheduled to begin by late October.
As the preceding years, each of us will be faced with new challenges, but I look forward to another successful school year. We at CPS commit ourselves everyday to provide the best quality education that ensures your child will be successful. There are many opportunities to become volunteers in various capacities. I encourage everyone to become more active with Clinton Public Schools. If you would like more information, please contact one of the principals or myself.
Sincerely,
Jason Sternberger
