What is your most memorable moment in teaching?

It is very difficult to pin down one particular moment as my most memorable.  The sum of my teaching experience is what makes my career memorable.  Teaching is what I love although some days leave me exhausted and questioning why I teach.  It is the moment when a student comes up to me after class to tell me that she got “it.” It is the moment a former student comes back to tell  me that I made a difference in his life when I taught him which makes me want to continue on the path of teaching.  These are the moments I relish and when my teaching career is over, they are the moments I will remember.
